01Why does my tankless go hot and cold?

The cold-water sandwich: the unit stops when flow drops below its minimum, then restarts. A low-flow faucet, a failing flow sensor or scale in the exchanger makes it worse. A descale and a sensor check usually settles it.

02How often should a tankless be descaled in Houston?

Once a year with Houston water. Units on a softener can go longer. A unit that has never been descaled in several years will have reduced flow and may be throwing overheat codes.

03Can you fix my error code over the phone?
